# Software that does what you need

AI Heroes builds custom software: web applications, customer portals and internal tools, with AI where it adds value. The first step is a six-day start sprint, from €8,000.

Plan a start sprint

How to start

## What we build

- Customer portals · Where your customers order, submit requests or check their status themselves.
- Planning tools · For people, equipment or rooms, connected to what you already have.
- Dashboards · With the figures that matter, from your own systems.
- Internal tools · For the work that now lives in Excel, email and scattered lists.
- AI where it solves something · Reading text, recognising data, answering questions: only where the work gets faster or better for it.

## How to start: the start sprint

In six days there is a first working version of the core, such as the ordering flow or the customer portal. Then we build in two-week sprints, with a demo after every sprint.

- 6 days: from question to result
- €8,000: fixed price, for every way in
- 2 weeks: from the first call to the start

After six days you have

A first working version of the core, a build plan in sprints and the business case on one page.

Case · INQ22

## Their own web shop, live at inq22.com

INQ22, a wholesaler of tattoo supplies for professionals, wanted a web shop that works the way they sell. We custom-built it, with AI as a tool in design, code and testing.

The web shop is live and contains no AI itself; we did build it with AI as a tool.

## Included in every build

- Business case first · Before we build, you know what it costs, what it returns and when it pays for itself.
- Compliance by design · AI Act classification, logging, human oversight and European hosting are part of the design.
- Your people can work with it · We train the team that will use the system on the system itself. That also covers Article 4 of the AI Act.
- Not tied to one AI vendor · You can switch AI models without rebuilding. Everything comes with documentation.

What matters most here: you know in advance what it costs and returns, and everything is documented.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does custom software cost?

The start sprint costs from €8,000. A build starts from €15,000 and for larger systems runs to well over €100,000. More in [what AI implementation costs](https://aiheroes.io/en/ai-implementation-costs).

### Why custom software instead of a package?

If a package fits, we say so. Custom software pays off when your way of working sets you apart, or when a package costs you more than it returns.

### Do you also build without AI?

Yes. The web shop of [INQ22](https://aiheroes.io/en/cases/inq22) contains no AI itself; we used AI as a tool to build it.

### How long does it take?

Usually two to twelve weeks, in two-week sprints with a demo after every sprint.

### Who looks after it afterwards?

We keep maintaining and developing it. Everything is documented and you are not tied to one AI vendor.
