Overview
AI agencies in the Netherlands compared (2026)
The short answer
These are ten AI agencies in the Netherlands, with what each one is strong in and who it suits. AI Heroes is number 1, because this is our list; we describe the others based on what they demonstrably deliver themselves. Which agency fits depends on your question: having a concrete system built, getting a large data landscape in order or training your team.
How this list was made
Search for “AI agency Netherlands” or “AI consultancy Netherlands” and you mostly find lists full of foreign names or thinly disguised adverts. This is our version, and we are open about how it came about:
- AI Heroes is number 1, because this is our list. We are not impartial about ourselves.
- We describe the other agencies based on what they publish themselves: their services, cases and location, checked on their own websites in October 2026.
- Places 2 to 10 are not a quality ranking. Each agency is strong in something different; the guide at the bottom helps you choose.
- We review the list every six months. The date at the top shows when that last happened. If something is wrong, let us know.
The criteria
- Based in the Netherlands, with a team that works here.
- Verifiable work: named cases or publicly visible projects.
- What the agency delivers: building, data engineering, training or advice.
- Specialism: what the agency excels at, and therefore who it makes most sense for.
The list
1. AI Heroes (Groningen)
- Strong in: building AI applications teams use every day, from new applications to replacing old software and running AI on your own servers.

Frequently asked questions
What does an AI agency cost?
That varies widely by agency and by assignment, and most agencies do not publish prices. Our own prices: a six‑day start sprint from €8,000, a build from €15,000. See AI implementation costs.
How do you choose the right AI agency?
Start from your question. If you want something built, look at named cases and at what is running after delivery. If you need to get a data landscape in order, choose an agency with deep data engineering. If you mainly want to train your team, choose an agency with a strong training offer. In every case, ask for a first step at a fixed price.
A large or a small agency?
Large agencies suit programmes with many departments and a long duration. Smaller agencies are closer to the actual work and faster. For an organisation of 50 to 2,000 people with one concrete problem, a smaller, specialised agency is often the better choice.
What is the difference between an AI agency and an AI consultancy?
The terms are often used interchangeably. Where there is a difference, a consultancy focuses on advice and strategy, while an agency that builds delivers software your team uses. For each agency, look at what it delivers: a report, a working system or a trained team.
Why is AI Heroes on this list?
Because we write the list, and because we think we belong on it. We would rather say that openly. The descriptions of the other agencies are based on their own websites and can be checked through the links.
