Can it run on your own servers? Yes.
AI Heroes builds AI that stays in Europe: on your own hardware or with a European provider, connected to your systems. The first step is a six‑day start sprint, from €8,000.
What we build
-
Language models on your own hardware
In your own server room or data centre, with your administrators trained on the setup.
-
Applications in the European cloud
With a European provider, using European models such as those from Mistral or the open EuroLLM.
-
Switching without your team noticing
From ChatGPT or Azure OpenAI to a European alternative, with the same way of working.
-
Connected to your systems
Your documents, ERP and CRM, with the permissions you already have.
Three routes
For some organisations, their own hardware is a requirement. For others it is a trade‑off, which we make together in the start sprint.
-
Your own hardware
When data may not leave the building, or with heavy use. You keep full control.
-
European cloud
A quick start without running your own servers, with a European provider.
-
A mix
Sensitive parts with you, the rest in the European cloud.
Working with us
Organisations that have worked with AI Heroes include:
How to start: the start sprint
We make a hosting design: your own hardware, the European cloud or a mix. In six days a model runs in the chosen place with your own data.
- from question to result
- 6 days
- fixed price, for every way in
- €8,000
- from the first call to the start
- 2 weeks
After six days you have
A hosting design, a working model in the chosen place, a risk assessment of what falls under US jurisdiction, and the business case: cloud versus your own hardware.
How the start sprint works Then we build in two‑week sprints, from €15,000.
Case · Our own AI assistant
Our own AI assistant, hosted in Europe
The assistant on this site answers questions from our own pages. It runs on European infrastructure, makes clear that it is AI and hands you to a person when it does not know.
It runs on European infrastructure. That is how we practise what we advise.
Read the caseIncluded in every build
-
Business case first
Before we build, you know what it costs, what it returns and when it pays for itself.
-
Compliance by design
AI Act classification, logging, human oversight and European hosting are part of the design.
-
Your people can work with it
We train the team that will use the system on the system itself. That also covers Article 4 of the AI Act.
-
Not tied to one AI vendor
You can switch AI models without rebuilding. Everything comes with documentation.
What matters most here: the hosting choice is part of compliance from the start.
Frequently asked questions
Are European or open models good enough?
For most business applications, yes. In the start sprint we test it on your data and your questions, and we say so if it falls short.
What does your own hardware cost?
That depends on the number of users and what the model needs to do. The trade‑off between cloud and your own hardware is in the business case of the start sprint.
Why is a European server at a US company not enough?
Under the US CLOUD Act, a US company can be compelled to hand over data, even when that data is stored in Europe. A European provider without a US parent, or your own servers, do not carry that risk.
Who manages it?
We keep maintaining and developing it, documented and not tied to one AI vendor. We train your own administrators on the setup.
Does this help with the AI Act?
It helps: you know where your data is and who can reach it. You can read what else the AI Act asks in the AI Act for organisations.
