What does AI implementation cost? After six days you know exactly.

Having an AI application built starts at AI Heroes with a six‑day start sprint, from €8,000. A build starts from €15,000 and for large systems runs to well over €100,000. After the start sprint you know what your application will cost.

What you pay

The same amounts as everywhere on this site.

  • Start sprint: from €8,000

Six days, fixed price, for every way in. Starts within two weeks of the first call.

  • Build: from €15,000

Usually two to twelve weeks, in two‑week sprints with a demo after every sprint.

  • Large systems: to well over €100,000

With many connections, migrations or several applications at once.

  • After that: maintenance and development

Hosting, model usage, maintenance and further development. What that costs is in your business case.

  • Training: from €2,500 per half day

Bookable separately for your team. In a build, training on the system is included. See AI training.

Where the costs are

What an application costs depends on a few things. After delivery too.

  • Connections

How many systems are involved, and whether they have a good API.

  • Data

How clean your data is and how much needs moving over.

  • Hosting

European cloud or your own servers, and how many users there are.

  • Model usage

How many questions or documents the AI model handles each month.

  • Maintenance and development

What comes after delivery: upkeep, updates and new wishes.

  • Training

How many people will work with it, and where.

How you know for certain what it costs

That is what the start sprint is for: in six days we build a prototype or build plan and work out what the full version costs and returns.

After six days you have

The business case on one page: what your application costs, what it returns and when it pays for itself. If it does not add up, we do not build.

How the start sprint works Then we build in two‑week sprints, from €15,000.

Case · Kwakkel BV

From question to working prototype in six days

Kwakkel BV wanted to see whether the manual administrative work could go, and did not want to read it in a report. Within six days a prototype was running on their own records, with the business case on one page.

After six days, Kwakkel knows what the full version costs and returns, and decides when the build starts.

Included in every build

  • Business case first

Before we build, you know what it costs, what it returns and when it pays for itself.

  • Compliance by design

AI Act classification, logging, human oversight and European hosting are part of the design.

  • Your people can work with it

We train the team that will use the system on the system itself. That also covers Article 4 of the AI Act.

  • Not tied to one AI vendor

You can switch AI models without rebuilding. Everything comes with documentation.

How we work

Frequently asked questions

Why no fixed price for the build?

Because every application is different. The start sprint works out what yours costs; after that the amount is in the business case.

What are the running costs after the build?

Hosting, model usage, maintenance and further development. What drives them is explained on this page; the amounts for your situation are in your business case.

Isn't a SaaS tool cheaper?

Sometimes. Sometimes you pay year after year for a package you only partly use; see replacing a SaaS package. In the start sprint we work out both.

What if the business case does not add up?

Then we do not build. You keep the prototype or plan and the business case.

Do I get the start sprint fee back if the build does not go ahead?

No. You pay for six days of work and keep the prototype or plan and the business case.

Tell us what you want to build

You will hear from us within 24 hours, usually with a proposal for a start sprint.
