The chat assistant on aiheroes.io is an AI system, built by AI Heroes itself. We say so in the conversation as well: you always know you are talking to AI, as Article 50 of the European AI Act requires. The assistant is an example of what we build for clients.

What the assistant can do, and what it cannot

The assistant answers questions about what we build, the start sprint, our cases, the team, the articles and the AI Salon. It takes you to the right page, helps you book a conversation with the team and hands the conversation over to a person if you want.

It only gives prices that are also on the site. Answers can be incomplete or wrong; check important information on the page it refers to.

Data and retention

Your chat history is stored in your own browser. On our servers we keep conversations pseudonymised, without name, IP address or profile, to improve the assistant, for at most 30 days. Only when you leave your name and email address to get in touch do we process personal data; we keep it for at most 90 days, in line with our privacy statement.

How it is built

The assistant searches our own pages and answers only on that basis, with the source included. It runs in Frankfurt, with a database in the EU. The language model can be switched without rebuilding the assistant, and every new version first has to pass a fixed test set. That way we do ourselves what we advise clients: compliance from the drawing board and running AI locally. Read more in the case.
